Hello! I'm Anita. For more than thirty-five years, I've had the privilege of walking alongside people through trauma, addictions, abuse, grief, transition and spiritual searching.

My own personal story through spiritual and systemic trauma, grief and faith reconstruction has enriched my empathy and understanding, enabling me to connect and companion with others deeply. Through this difficult journey,

I was introduced to Spiritual Direction and the Ignatian Exercises. This became (and continues to be) a siginificant space for my healing and personal growth. Alongside being a Certified Spiritual Director, I am Executive Director of Spiritual Trauma Care, a team of professionals that help people heal from religious trauma. My training includes a master's-level in counseling, certification in Religious Trauma Studies and training in Somatic therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR. As an Enneagram enthusiast, I enjoy exploring the patterns and uniqueness that shape who we are. I'm an avid enthusiast of nature, travel, camping, storm watching, history, reading and anything artsy. We live in beautiful Chemainus, BC.

My hope is to foster a welcoming space where people feel deeply seen, loved, compassionately heard and free to

explore all of life without pressure or expectation.

Wherever you find yourself on your journey,

you are welcome here.
